Safari Baby Shower

A secluded place where trees own the world. Baby cheetah's roam around, giraffe families sun bathe, a big giant elephant that everyone wants to take a ride on and once in awhile you see a little turtle family in the creek. Any child would love this place, even the one that is still in mommy's tummy.
dessert tables have become an easy way to entertain guests, although it has and must look and taste perfect for it to be a hit. This baby shower was put together in the middle of summer, June. It was hot outside, but what kind of safari is ever indoors, right? I put the table under a gazebo vined with grape leaves and purple juicy wine grapes. It was really the perfect touch.

Baby eclairs, baby brownies, baby carrots... are you getting the theme yet....
The three tiered cake was a hit, I decorated the cake myself. I put some cheetah ribbon on the bottom to give it that wild kick, but definitely now tacky. Tossed a stork and a baby in the middle, keeping it simple.

My favorite part about this event was shopping for safari print platters. It's really fun to stand in line with a cart full of, leopard, zebra and giraffe print plates. I could just see this project turning out outrageous.
A quick way to distract guests. Above: Shaded green vanilla frosting, topped over mini brownie bites. Sprinkles and Animals.
The Flowers, I can't ever forget. They make or break an event of any kind.
Bells of Ireland- to keep it crisp and fresh
Sunset roses- fully open - to keep it garden like and happy. The yellow in this rose really brings out great smiles and conversation.
Bella Donna's- Hey she is having a boy!! A perfect blue summer flower. Delicate, but a burst of color.

The centerpieces of this shower had bamboo sticks and Birds of Paradise as well.
If you would like to see more of this event, please contact me. I would love to show you.
